Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of gen3order-optim.us and of the reservation process operated through it. By using the site or submitting a reservation request you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
Supply of an Optimus Gen-3 unit is governed by a separate written agreement. Nothing on this website forms part of that agreement, and where the two differ, the signed agreement prevails.
What this website is
This site is an information and reservation front end for the Optimus Gen-3 programme. It describes a product, publishes indicative specifications and prices, and lets you ask us to hold a build slot.
It is not a shop. No payment is taken here, no payment details are requested, and submitting the reservation form does not create a contract of sale. It is an invitation for us to contact you.
Reservations
- A reservation request is non-binding on both sides until a written reservation agreement is countersigned.
- Build slots are allocated in the order reservations are confirmed, not by order value. We may decline or reprioritise a request where supply, export control or safety assessment requires it.
- Any deposit is refundable in full up to the point the site survey is countersigned. After that, the Refund & Cancellation Policy governs.
- Prices shown are indicative list prices per unit, exclusive of duties, shipping, installation and local taxes. They may change before a quotation is issued, and a quotation is valid for 30 days.
- Delivery dates are estimates tied to a production run, not guarantees. We will tell you promptly if your slot moves and why.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading or third-party details in the reservation form;
- use the site to transmit malware, or to probe, scan or test its security without written authorisation (see the coordinated disclosure note in the Privacy Policy);
- scrape, mirror or systematically extract content other than through ordinary indexing that respects
robots.txt; - place an unreasonable load on the infrastructure through automated requests;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive proprietary information from material published here.
We may suspend access where any of the above occurs, and we reserve the right to report unlawful conduct.
Intellectual property
The design, code, text, drawings, technical diagrams and photographic treatment on this site are owned by Optimus Robotics or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and related rights. The Optimus name and marks used here identify our own products.
You may read, print and share pages for your own evaluation purposes, with attribution and without modification. Commercial reproduction, redistribution or the creation of derivative works requires written permission.
Photography on this site is illustrative and may depict equipment other than production Gen-3 hardware. Technical drawings are simplified representations, not manufacturing documents.
Accuracy and specification changes
We take care to keep specifications current, but this is a product under active development. Figures marked as nominal are measured under the stated conditions and will vary in service. We may change specifications, configurations and prices without notice up to the point a quotation is issued to you.
Where a stated figure turns out to be wrong, our obligation is to correct it — not to supply a unit meeting the incorrect figure.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement in relation to the website itself.
Product-specific disclaimers, including limits on intended use and operating environment, are set out in the Product Disclaimer and should be read as part of these terms.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — and in particular, nothing here limits our obligations under applicable product safety law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of production, loss of contracts or loss of data arising from your use of this website, and our total liability in connection with the website is limited to £100 or the equivalent in your local currency.
Liability in connection with supplied hardware is dealt with in the supply agreement and is not limited by this paragraph.
Export control and sanctions
Humanoid robotics hardware and the software that drives it may be subject to export control and sanctions law. You confirm that you are not located in, and are not acting on behalf of any person located in, a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that you are not a designated person under any applicable sanctions regime.
We may decline a reservation, suspend a programme stage or terminate an agreement where export control clearance cannot be obtained. Where that happens, deposits are returned in full.
Third-party links and services
This site loads web fonts and a JavaScript animation library from third-party content delivery networks. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices. Links to external sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement; we are not responsible for their content.
Changes, governing law and disputes
We may amend these terms. The version number and date at the top of the page reflect the current text, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Changes do not apply retroactively to a reservation already confirmed in writing.
These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of your local law.
