Independence and trademarks
Optimus Robotics is an independent robotics company. The Optimus Gen-3 platform described on this site is our own product.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or otherwise connected to any other organisation that may use a similar product name, and no such association should be inferred from anything on this site. All third-party names and marks, wherever they appear, remain the property of their respective owners and are used, if at all, only for identification.
Specifications and performance figures
Every figure published here is nominal, measured under the stated conditions, and subject to change while the platform is in development. In particular:
- Runtime, payload, speed and cycle figures depend on duty cycle, ambient temperature, floor surface, task mix and battery age. Your results will differ.
- Deployment case figures are drawn from previous-generation units at specific customer sites and are not a prediction for your facility.
- Build slot counts and programme dates are current at the date of publication and move as the production run is allocated.
- Prices are indicative list prices and are not an offer capable of acceptance.
Nothing on this site is a warranty, a representation of fitness for a particular purpose, or a guarantee of a particular commercial outcome.
Imagery and drawings
Photography on this site is illustrative. It may depict equipment, facilities and personnel other than production Gen-3 hardware, and is colour-graded for visual consistency. It should not be read as a depiction of the delivered product.
Technical drawings, including the systems diagram, are simplified schematic representations intended to explain layout and function. They are not to scale in every respect, are not manufacturing documents, and must not be used for interface design, fixture design or clearance calculation. Dimensioned drawings are released under NDA at programme stage two.
Intended use and limitations
Optimus Gen-3 is a general-purpose industrial work platform intended for indoor use on prepared floors, supervised by a competent operator, within the environmental limits stated in the specification.
It is not designed, tested or certified for:
- use in explosive or flammable atmospheres (ATEX, IECEx or equivalent zones);
- direct contact with unpackaged foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals or sterile materials;
- use as a component of a life-safety, medical, nuclear or aviation system;
- patient handling, personal care or any application where a failure could directly injure a person who cannot move away;
- outdoor operation in precipitation, or on unprepared or unstable ground;
- autonomous operation in public spaces without a site-specific risk assessment.
The operator is responsible for the site-specific risk assessment, for local machinery-safety compliance, for informing workers who share the space, and for ensuring that anyone supervising a unit has completed the commissioning training.

Statements about future production runs, capabilities, certifications and availability reflect current intentions and are subject to engineering, supply chain, regulatory and commercial factors outside our control. They are not commitments, and we undertake no obligation to update them except where the law requires it.
